Spreading the Word About the Seal Hunt

Harpseals.org Campaigns

Harpseals.org BillboardHarpseals.org is working to end the slaughter of seals by educating the public and by advocating and promoting the boycotts of Canadian seafood and tourism. Our actions for seals include creating multimedia advertisements, staffing information booths at festivals, speaking at schools, civic group, and religious group meetings and conferences, and contacting businesses involved in the seafood trade.

Harpseals.org has created billboards, TV commercials, radio commercials, print ads, flash banners, and short videos. Visit our advertising section for more information and to learn how you can sponsor ads for seals.

Harpseals.org also has created a PowerPoint presentation on the seal hunt, which we use in schools and conferences to educate thousands of students and other individuals. We make this presentation available to all seal activists and also supply other teaching materials. Our Toolbox has this presentation as well as many other resources for seal activists.

Visit our outreach section for more information on our direct outreach activities. Learn about some of the festivals where we have informed the public about the seals, and find out how you can join us.
