Seal Defenders and Information About Seals
Guide to Other Organizations Opposing the Seal Slaughter
Individuals and organizations have been striving to end the Canadian seal hunt for over 40 years. Despite great efforts and partial successes, the seal hunt continues to this day, though it is currently taking the lives of tens of thousands of seal pups each year instead of hundreds of thousands.
Here, we provide information about other organizations involved in some way in stopping the seal hunt. Harpseals.org strives to work with all seal hunt opponents and bring us all together in a cooperative effort to help the seals.
We encourage you to contact these organizations and assist them in saving the seals.
