When you donate through our website, you reach a "secure" page, where you are asked for your personal information. We use 256 bit encryption with a secure socket layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt all sensitive information. The information you provide is used in the following way:
• Name and Address: This information is used as the billing information. We also use this information to confirm the identification of callers when calling in about donations.
• Telephone Number: This information is used to contact a customer if a problem arises with his/her donation, and we cannot reach the customer in a timely fashion via email.
• E-mail Address: This is used as a means of communication with the donor and for sending immediate receipts for donations
